Our party was advertised not only in the EPFL robotics newsletter, but in the Ecublens Infos paper and on the 'lit up' signs of Ecublens!
It was a lot of fun!
one of the art panels drawn by Esther and Friends for the party!

Party preparations also made the most of what we already had (helium from the old Octanis Rover project)!
Esther brought the eBows from the homemade summer camp! (and her guitar as a sound box)
Maurice enjoyed the balloons, but not so much, the eBows, as seen below!
Using the Octanis workshop space was a higher priority than the party for some, like Damien.
Tatiana and Urs enjoy the red sofa from Sophie!
The 'Room without a Roof'- readied for more guests and weather
We had slides ready for viewing - this one with dahlia pollen (not Corona!) on our Leitz scope with the RaspberryPi camera (so everyone can take images on their device)
Urs brought gadgets from Lucerne. We tested his Pocket PCR vs our old beast...
3 reactions in the old machine.
3 reactions in the pocket PCR
The eBow's 'play themselves'
but it is not always pleasant for everyone! (see Maurice with ears covered!)
The results were clear! (and the experiment will be repeated with more standard Taq!)
