(Luc, 1 min)
Get ok from all board members to upload minutes on wiki (or else discuss alternative below)
Objections? NO
Point 1: Projects updates
It is important that every board member stays up to date with all main projects. Add link when relevant.
P1 implementation
Update from Yann P. (5min)
More on the page dedicated to the Work in progress. Can we update the timeline? More realistic to imagine the lab could be ready in late May, and experiments start in June.
- List of minimal requirements <- See "Crititcal Points".
Is this table (814.912 Ordinance of 9 May 2012 on Handling Organisms in Contained Systems (Containment Ordinance, ContainO), Annex 4.2.1) what we are looking for? In which case there is almost no requirement..
- Training?
- Space setup ideas
- Where we place it
- Size of it
- Cost
- Full lab rearrangement
- Space requirements
- Material disposition
- What goes in: Final decision for a first iteration
- Plan for gathering equipment
- When do we set this in motion, whom do we ask
- Plan for first procedure standardization
- Define the first activities we want to allow, make a procedure for it
- The message
- Consistency of what we all say
- Who is going to access the lab
- Don't promise anything we don't have yet
- Timeline, validation, task dispatch
- Contact the OFSP and OFEV for questions regarding autorisations and BSO (or any other organism)(Luc ?)
- RFID setup (Sam )
- Monitoring (Computer and log) (Sam )
- Storage room remodeling (Yann +)
- Contacting the benefactors (Yann +)
- Software, procedures (Randow ?)
Discussion around the topic (Luc?)
Ask Luc Patiny for a contribution?
- Lilian Michaliek
- UniverCité
- Alain Kaufmann (Eprouvette)
- Neighbours
- Politics (municipality)

Point 2: Results of the poll
The results of the poll for 24 Hackuarium members are available here.
How can we build on the comments below?
The following improvement were suggested for UniverCité:
- Better communication for the upcoming events
- Better wifi
- Better use of tables
- Better video projector/sound system
- Bicycle rack outside/inside
The following improvement were suggested for Hackuarium:
- Better communication for the upcoming events
- Physical board for pictures of all members
- Check-in system to easily know if someone is in the lab
- P1 lab
- Coat rack
- Real freezer (whatever that means)
- Lab cleaning days (at least the fridge) (lab or kitchen)
- Some working space other than benches/more tables to work on, with plugs.
- Big white board (we now have 2 sitting somewhere.. need to be hang on the walls.. anyone?)
We need a reminder of the goals of the association and that of DIY biology and biohacking. Luc can do an introduction again at some point (schedule in upcoming events).
Point 3: Finance
Some details about finance
- Accountants: we need two people to check the account. Ana said she can help. We need someone external.
- Invoice mechanism: centralised is better. -> { Note from Sam: please check smallinvoice.ch (we used this for companies and associations...) }
- Fundraising: Luc is happy to take this responsibility but needs green light from board/community to look for funding.
Web addresses
Do we want to keep the .com and .org extensions?

EU Funding
Hackuarium was asked to participate to the call TRANSAR:ID (TRans-Alpine Newcomers in Science, Art, Research, Innovation and Development). We need to discuss whether it is relevant or not. http://www.alpine-space.eu/project-application/project-submission/open-calls-for-project-proposals
Interactions with EPFL
Go back to IBI and ask for their idea of a good collaboration.
