Presentations

A small group from Pangloss Labs, the open (source) innovation centre and ecological FabLab based in and near Geneva will be visiting.

Paul Bristow, one of the co-founders, will present the lab and their open approach to entrepreneurship. Paul is also the “Gadget Guru” on World Radio Switzerland and wrote an article about the Hackuarium for the Geneva Voice Magazine. He was most recently here in the Université at the IoT Hackathon giving the keynote address about “The Unintended Consequences of the Internet of Things".

Cristina Olivotto is a physicist by training and worked in the domain of science communication and education with national and international organisations since 2003 in the context of SterrenLab. She is currently setting up with Paul Bristow in Geneva a Makeshop, an open space for makers - beginners and advanced - inspired by constructivism and social inclusion. She’ll present the Makeshop concept.
