note added the following day, 17Feb: WE FORGOT entirely TO DO this!! but we always accept...
It was so strange with two zooms and microphone difficulties.
in the common room were Maurice, Baptiste, Rachel, Masoud, Michel and Jean, still with masks.
everyone else came by zoom, and it worked surprisingly well overall - even with having to reconnect 2 more times - everyone knew what to do, and we only lost a few the 3rd time.

Esther had another separate one to share, very nice, and also Luc showed the new documentation for their open science hardware (link below).

Rappel du procédé pour demande une mini-bourse pour votre projet/ Reminder of the process to request a minigrant for your project
Le processus utilisé jusqu'à présent :
1. Le projet est développé, idéalement avec une équipe transdisciplinaire, et présenté dans #OH.
2. Des pages wiki sont créées et le budget est déterminé. On peut demander jusqu'à 500chf pour un minigrant.
3. Le demandeur envoie un email au conseil d'administration, décrivant le besoin et justifiant son budget (en utilisant l'adresse email board@hackuarium.com).
3. Si 3 membres du conseil d'administration soutiennent la demande, c'est un feu vert.
4. S'il y a des préoccupations dans les 48 heures, ou des avis négatifs, la demande est discutée lors de la prochaine réunion du conseil (dans un délai d'un mois).
The process used so far:
1 Project is developed, ideally with transdisciplinary team, and presented in #OH.
2. Wiki pages made and budget is determined. Up to 500chf can be requested for a minigrant.
3. Requester sends board an email, describing the need and justifying its budget (using the board@hackuarium.com email address).
3. If 3 members of the board support the request, it is a green light.
4. If there are concerns within 48 hours, or negative opinions, it gets discussed at the next board meeting (within a month).
Many projects are mainly run on personal funds for some time, but also can get funding specifically for a projet, and have it go via the Association.
(Living Instruments tours were arranged like this, another example was BeerDeCoded with its crowdfunding, and most recently CoronaDetective with JOGL's open peer review system.)

la demande d'être reconnu comme utilité publique a été envoyé avant, Noël.
L'association est officiellement une personne morale...
Nous avons parlés avec l'office qui traite le demande et attend leurs nouvelles toujours.
Our request to be recognised as a public service group exempt from taxes was submitted before xmas, so the group is already a 'moral person'
We hope to learn more soon from the office that is looking over our dossier.
2) Meetup
Yann H paid all these years for meetup, and finally stepped down - we are now in a trial 6 month phase, to decide whether or not to keep it going.
3) Eurobiosummit group, JOGL, webspace and collaborations/funding ? (who would like to look into this!?)
4) Notre nouveau espace abc2 - a biomaterials and chemistry clubhouse - espace acqui!
