19h00 (CET) en streaming ici [1] et sur Jitsi [2] ecris-nous sur hello@hackuarium.ch pour le mot de passe, nous accueillerons Aurelie Stephan and Alejandro Osorio pour nous introduir: Pourquoi la science semble-t-elle si fantastique dans les films de science fictions, alors que dans la vie quotidienne elle est plutôt associée à des présentations ennuyeuses avec beaucoup trop de texte sur les slides powerpoint ? Et bien, peut-être est-ce dû au fait que les scientifiques n’ont ni le temps ni le besoin de produire des résultats beaux et inspirant de par leur beauté. Nous allons entreprendre une courte exploration du cas spécifique de l’électro-encéphalographie pour comprendre pourquoi il peut être important de la mélanger avec l’art, non seulement pour pouvoir améliorer la communication scientifique au grand public, mais également pour l’exploration scientifique elle-même. Découvrons ensemble le cerveau sous une nouvelle lumière !

Well, it might be because scientists don’t have the time nor the need to produce beautiful and awe-inspiring outputs. We will proceed in a short exploration of the specific case of electro-encephalography to see why it might be important to mix it with art. Not only to better succeed in science communication to the general public but also for the scientists’ own exploration. Let’s discover the brain in a completely new light !
