Gut Gardening is a collaborative project between Alanna Lynch, and Vanessa Lorenzo in collaboration with Rachel Aronoff under the umbrella of their Utopiana residency Utopiana and the DIY science crowd ofHackuarium.

It is an artistic research on the human–more-than-human (gut microbiome, bacteria, fermentation techniques, etc) networks.

This page is work-in-progress. It is a living documentation of the project that gets regularly updated.

What

EN - This collaboration aims at three goals:

  • To analize our gut microbiome, compare, make microbiology and genomic tests.
  • To built a set of cultures a care, monitorize, interact with them (eat, observe, incubate, share, trac our diet and performance, repeat).
  • To compose a common probiotic garden with kombucha, kefir, etc.
