Do you have the craving to build or discover something? To participate in a community that promotes the realization of your ideas with autonomy and freedom? Where we do projects just for fun, for community improvement, citizen science, or flat out serious basic research?

Meet the Hackuarium, a biohacking, biodesign, open science association in Renens with a close association with the UniverCité Makerspace (made@UC). The Hackuarium members develop creative science projects accessible to everyone. Our projects are based on trans-disciplinary, DIY, open source science. For information about our association, who we are, and what we do, check out our wiki and website.

We are looking for people itching to turn ideas into reality. It doesn’t matter what you already know or what you want to do. You may not even know what you want to build! At the Hackuarium we can help you find, start, or brainstorm a project in the only Biohacking space in Switzerland of its kind!

Don’t have time thanks to school? Ask about the option to do your internship/semester project with us. Don’t miss this opportunity!

A presentation of our community, the space and some of the current projects will be held Wednesday March 1st at 19h:30 at Hackuarium: 1ère étage, Chemin du Closel 5, 1020 Renens. This talk is part of the Open Hackuarium series held every Wednesday and open to the general public.

Hope to see you,
